- What is iToonU?
- An onlne portait/caricature transformation process. You send the
photo, Bert does his magic... you are tooned!
- What is the procedure from purchase to product ?
- - You place the order
- You receive an email with order confirmation
- You send the photograph of yourchoice to be tooned.
- The cartoon is created personally by Mr. Bert Austin himself.
- The finished iToonU package is sent to you by email or download link.
- How long does it take to receive the final toon ?
- Depending on the orders in the queue, it can take from 1 day up to
approximately 2 weeks. A rough measure of the current waiting time can
be found on the Home Page under iToonU Statistics. This is an
estimated timeframe.
- What will I receive in my order ?

- Basically you can request any major graphic format and size you need for at extra charge.
Our standard package includes:
- 300 DPI 8.5" x 11" JPEG
- High Resolution PNG File with background transparency
- Vector based PDF File
- As mentioned above other formats are available on request
- What does it cost to be tooned ?
- Every order for toonage is currently only $35 (Grand Opening Special)!

We deliver the toon in any graphic format you like thus enabling you to use the toon for virtually any project, digital and physical.
Have your loved ones tooned and give it as a gift, put it on your business card, letter heads, greeting cards, pencils, blog, myspace, use it as your avatar, use it as the contact images for your contact application, toon your entire staff and put it on your company website, print it as big as you wish and even frame it, use it to crate your family tree, license our service for your community website and have us toon your community members, print it on a t-shirt, hat, mouse pad, etc, etc, etc

- What do you toon?
- Bert Austin toons portraits and faces.
- Can my pet be tooned?
- Yes!
- What format does my photo need to be in?
- JPG ( JPEG ), or whatever format is most convenient for you.
- Is it possible to receive a small preview of my photo before placing an order?

The drawing process takes between 1 to 2 hours depending on the complexity.
Unfortunately it is not possible for me to send you a preview without having invested already a significant amount of time on the project.
I tried as good as I can to show what can be expected through the front page of the website. One example showing a real photo to the final toon.
I would love to be able to send previews but it would just not work with the time invested.
- Do you give refunds?
- As long as I did not start working on your toon you can request a full refund.
Once I start working on the toon I am unfortunately not able to give any refunds.
- Do you use filters to create the Toon?
- No! Every toon is done by hand. I do not use filters, tracers, photo to comic software or anything like that. I have yet to see any filter or software that produces truly satisfying results. Besides where would be the fun? :)
